Abbey takes pride in her passion to share the world, her travels and knowledge with others. She taught High School World Geography for 7 years, before becoming a travel professional. She holds a Master’s degree towards Administrative Leadership in Education which has brought immense value to running Altitude Travel. Previously, she was the CEO of Sky High Travel for almost 4 years.
Her passport holds stamps for Kenya, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, South Africa, Holland, France, Saudi Arabia, Thailand…the list goes on and she is always ready to add more. Abbey loves to travel with her family (consisting of her husband and 2 young sons) but equally enjoys her solo adventures.
In addition to Abbey’s client portfolio, she also excels in corporate travel, meetings and incentive trips. These services range from handling travel itineraries for the group all the way to each fine detail, event and excursion. She has successfully escorted numerous company trips to make sure everything is handled professionally.
Her recent accolade includes an induction to Global Travel Marketplace’s (GTM) Advisory Board.
Her expertise paired with personal travels are a huge contribution to the services Abbey provides. She has a true knack for getting her clients to think outside of the box to get creative with their travel!

My name is Bettina Hunt, and I am originally from Greece! I have spent the last 29 years in the States, significantly contributing to various fields. I hold a degree in Psychology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL). With a passion for languages, I have also served as a French and English teacher, fostering communication and cultural understanding among my students. With a keen interest in exploring different cultures, I have traveled extensively, with some of the best destinations being Egypt, China, and Aruba.

Altitude Travel CEO, Abbey Meyer, recently had the opportunity to experience the iconic beauty of the French Polynesian islands. She visited 5 islands and toured more than 20 properties in order to experience this paradise first-hand for her clients and team. Abbey fell in love with Tahiti's national dish, poisson cru (a must-try!). The rich polynesian culture is intoxicating and the people could not have been more welcoming. Her favorite experience was diving among the vibrant coral reefs and swimming with gigantic manta rays. Truly a bucket-list trip! It's no surprise to us that her favorite island was Bora Bora.
